Former Premier League striker Jan-Aage Fjortfoft doesn't expect Erling Haaland to sign a new deal with Manchester City.
The Bundesliga pundit is close to the Haaland family.
Citing reports that City are looking to tie down Haaland to a new contract, Fjortoft dismisses the notion that their No 9 would sign it.
Haaland's contract is until June 30, 2027 and having only joined a few months ago he is no rush to sign a new one.
"I can hardly imagine that this could make sense for him and his team," Fjortoft - who played for Swindon Town, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Barnsley in the 1990s - wrote for BILD.
"He's only been there for three months."
