Flood evacuees in Beaufort drop to 213 as waters recede

KOTA KINABALU: The number of flood evacuees in Beaufort has dropped to 213 individuals from 69 families this evening.

This figure represents a decrease from the 233 people from 69 families recorded this morning.

The Sabah State Disaster Management Committee confirmed that all evacuees remain housed at the Selagon relief centre.

A total of eight villages have been affected by the flooding in the Beaufort district. – Bernama
