Floyd Mayweather has announced he will be back in action this June, set to take on Mike Zambidis.

Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are scheduled for a rematch on September 19 at the Sphere in Las Vegas, an event announced last month.

The rematch will be their first meeting since their historic clash eleven years ago, but it is not the only fight that the 49-year-old American has lined up with a boxing legend in 2026.

‘Money’ is reportedly scheduled to face Mike Tyson in an exhibition bout on April 25. A third fight has now been confirmed to happen between those two events.

Mayweather will step into the ring again this June when he takes on Zambidis in Athens.

The match adds to what is already looking like a busy stretch for the unbeaten boxer, who now has three fights planned over the coming months.

Zambidis first announced the bout in early February, but it took almost a month before Mayweather responded publicly.

Taking to Instagram, he said: “2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for me.

“Europe, I’m on the way to entertain!! Athens, Greece… Get ready for an all out exhibition. This summer will be a legendary battle. June is the month where history will be made at the Telekom Center. Different energy. Different level.”

His final fight of 2026 will see him return to professional boxing for a rematch with Pacquiao, a fight that was initially supposed to be another exhibition until ‘PacMan’ pushed for it to be officially sanctioned.

Floyd Mayweather has participated in eight exhibition matches since retiring from professional boxing

Mayweather took a different path after his last pro fight, stepping away from the official record books but keeping busy.

Since beating Conor McGregor, he has made the most of his name by stepping into a series of exhibitions, staying active without putting anything on the line.

The lack of damage in these bouts has helped extend his time in the ring, giving him more options at this stage of his career.
