SANDAKAN: The development of Sandakan District focuses on economic prosperity and impactful programmes that benefit the residents.

Sandakan Municipal Council President Walter Kenson expressed confidence that Sandakan would continue to progress, improving the socioeconomic status of its people.

Walter also extended his congratulations and described Musa’s visit to Sandakan as highly anticipated by the people.

During the event, Musa distributed several contributions in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, including food aid baskets and cash assistance from the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis), the Sabah Islamic Affairs Department (Jheains) and the Sabah Baitulmal Corporation to 10 recipients.

Muis also provided a RM10,000 donation to the Sandakan District Da’wah Organization, along with monthly and Ramadan aid for asnaf (eligible zakat recipients), the poor, and new converts.
