SANDAKAN: Police here detained a foreigner in his 20s suspected of being involved in a fight with several others at a funfair here recently.
Sandakan District Police Chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah on Monday said so far no reports had been lodged by any party regarding the incident.
However he said police would probe the case under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.
A video footage of the fight at the crowded funfair started making its rounds on social media two days earlier.
