Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper felt they deserved more from their 3-2 defeat at Manchester United.

Forest had an early 2-0 lead before United staged their fight-back.

Cooper said: "For a team to score or concede two goals so quickly doesn't happen very often, certainly not for the away team here.

"For the positions we did get into, we weren't able to make the most of our chances. That'll be another frustration and will wind me and the players up a little while, for sure.

"We had some really good phases in the game and some really good tactical moves. We couldn't quite get the final bit and are disappointed we lost.

"You need luck when you come here and lots of other things. We showed the other things.

"Goals always make a difference in games, but I feel like we should have scored one or two more."
