PAKATAN Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Negeri Sembilan voters to put aside differences after the state election campaign and return to unity, saying political stability is essential for continued development and economic growth.
In a video message posted on Facebook on Friday, the Prime Minister acknowledged that the campaign period had produced strong views and differences among competing parties, with some exchanges possibly exceeding the bounds of political contestation.
“The Negeri Sembilan state election campaign has begun and we have gone through the campaign period with various views being expressed.
“I believe that during this process there may have been excesses, so let us forgive one another and return as friends because we are all Malaysians,” he said.
Anwar, who is also PKR president, called on all voters in Negeri Sembilan, regardless of race or religion, to fulfil their responsibility by casting their ballots.
He said PH would continue its efforts to safeguard stability and drive economic growth that benefits the people if entrusted with another mandate.
“On behalf of Pakatan Harapan, I seek the consideration of the people to give us the opportunity to continue serving, ensure stability and drive growth that will bring prosperity to all the people of Negeri Sembilan together with the Federal Government and the MADANI Government,” he said.
A total of 859,750 ordinary voters are eligible to cast their ballots in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election, with polling scheduled for Saturday - July 31, 2026
