A late-night illegal motorcycle race ended in tragedy after two riders were killed in a crash along the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), according to Kosmo!.

One of the victims was just 15 years old, a Form 3 student.

The fatal incident took place at KM51.1 of the highway near Pulau Indah around 11pm on Tuesday, June 25.

Four motorcycles were racing from Laguna Park towards Pulau Carey when two of the riders collided and fell onto the road.

Moments later, two other motorcycles that were trailing closely behind failed to brake in time and ran over the fallen victims.

Police confirmed that the two deceased riders were a 15-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others, aged 15 and 24, were seriously injured and have been sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang for treatment.

South Klang district police chief, ACP Cha Hoong Fong, said initial investigations showed the group was racing illegally on the expressway before the deadly crash occurred.

A dashcam video capturing the incident has since gone viral, showing the moment the riders collided and the gruesome aftermath, including footage of body parts strewn across the road.
