Newly released police footage shows the moment that Vince McMahon crashed his $300,000 car whilst speeding at 115mph down a highway.

The ex-WWE CEO was driving his 2024 Bentley Continental GT on the Merritt Parkway in Westport, Connecticut on July 24, 2025, whilst a police officer tailed him as he tried to catch up to the speeding driver.

Video released by Connecticut State Police shows McMahon then crashing into another car before stopping on the side of the road.

When asked by the officer why he was speeding, he replied: “I got my granddaughter’s birthday.”

After the officer told him that he had been trying to catch up with him, McMahon claimed that he “wasn’t trying to outrun you”. He also denied looking at his phone.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, police said. McMahon was cited for reckless driving and following too closely.
