- Police spokesperson Audrey-Anne Bilodeau stated that the helicopter appeared to experience difficulties before the crash, noting that confirming the victims' identities could take a few days.
- The Sûreté du Québec’s major crimes unit is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash, supported by a deployed team from Canada's Transportation Safety Board.
- Federal Transport Minister Steven MacKinnon expressed his condolences and announced that Transport Canada will appoint a minister’s observer to track the response and identify any safety or regulatory deficiencies.
