
Four men jumped into a monsoon drain in Kota Kinabalu to rescue a doctor after her car plunged into the flood, saving her life.
PETALING JAYA: Quick thinking and bravery displayed by four men prevented a potential tragedy yesterday after a doctor’s car plunged into a monsoon drain in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

According to a report by the New Straits Times, the doctor’s vehicle reportedly rear-ended a tow truck, causing her to lose control of the car.
The vehicle then swerved off the road and plunged into a deep roadside drain.
The tow truck driver, having witnessed the accident, immediately entered the water to assist the motorist.
Three other passers-by, witnessing the unfolding emergency, did not hesitate to join the rescue effort.
Working together, the group managed to pull the woman from her vehicle just as it began to submerge.
Following the rescue, the doctor was transported to a nearby hospital to receive urgent medical treatment.
