France coach Didier Deschamps says he's in contact with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba is waiting on the length of ban he faces after a failed doping test was confirmed on appeal.
Deschamps said at the release of his latest France squad selection yesterday: "We are in contact.
"I will not tell you the content of our talks. Today he awaits a decision, a sanction, which will be more or less long. With everything he has been through before, it is a very complicated situation for him, psychologically very difficult.
"He cannot be selected as long as he is suspended. For how long? Will he return to his best level? He has the ability, the mentality to do it. But it won't happen overnight, unfortunately for him."
