Free influenza vaccinations for senior citizens in Petaling Jaya

SHAH ALAM, July 19 - Up to 200 senior citizens in the Petaling Jaya area will have the opportunity to receive a free influenza vaccination on Sunday (July 26).

Bukit Gasing state assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran said the programme will be held at SK Sri Damai's hall in Section 17 from 9am to 11am.

Individuals aged 60 and above who have registered are encouraged to arrive before 10.30am.

"After that time, any unclaimed vaccination slots will be opened to walk-in participants on a first come, first served basis," he said in a Facebook post.

Registrations can be made at https://forms.gle/HomALo35DLAQyHom9.

In addition to the influenza vaccination, the programme will also offer free basic health screenings to the public, with no prior registration required.

Rajiv also encouraged members of the public to bring along their family members, neighbours, and friends to take advantage of the healthcare services provided and help build a healthier community together.
