In the whirlwind of controversy surrounding a shoe adorned with what's claimed to be the Arabic script for "Allah," all parties embroiled in the debacle are summoned to provide elucidation to the Islamic Development Department (Jakim), marking a pivotal moment in the unfolding saga.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department for Religious Affairs, Datuk Dr. Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, wasted no time in rallying Jakim to investigate the alleged sacrilegious depiction found on the sole of a shoe. "Jakim will convene with relevant stakeholders on Monday to delve deeper into this matter," Dr. Mohd Na'im asserted in a statement, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

In a bid to quell rising tensions, he implored the public to maintain composure and entrust Jakim and law enforcement with the task of unraveling the truth. "The Prime Minister's Department for Religious Affairs stands firm: we will not tolerate any affront to Islam," he affirmed, invoking a stance of unwavering resolve.

Meanwhile, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain echoed the sentiment, confirming the police's commitment to investigate the allegation with due diligence.

The controversy first erupted when Umno Youth chief Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh disclosed receiving a distressing message on Facebook regarding the purported presence of the contentious footwear in a local store. Upon inspection, Dr. Akmal noted the image depicted what appeared to be a high-heeled shoe with a strap, further fueling the furor.

In a decisive move, Dr. Akmal issued a stern ultimatum, demanding the implicated company furnish an explanation within 24 hours under the threat of a boycott.

However, the plot thickened as the owner of the local shoe company clarified the misunderstanding, attributing the contentious illustration to the logo of a Chinese-based shoe manufacturer. In a bid to dispel the mounting uproar, the company assured that a formal statement addressing the issue would be forthcoming.

As the dust settles, the nation holds its breath, awaiting the outcome of Jakim's inquiry and the resolution of a controversy that has captured the collective attention of the populace. In this crucible of conflicting narratives, the truth remains elusive, veiled in the shadows of ambiguity.
