Everton and Fulham are challenging Nottingham Forest for Brighton striker Neal Maupay, according to reports.

Forest agreed a £15m deal to sign the Frenchman in recent weeks.

Albion are prepared to sell Maupay, and now they could bump up their price.

The Athletic reports that Everton and Fulham are looking hijack Forest's deal for the 26-year-old.

It is suggested that Everton manager Frank Lampard has held talks with Maupay.
