A newborn baby, Muhammad Adham Mikail, passed away just 30 minutes after birth on November 24 due to severe abnormalities.

The dad claimed that because they couldn’t pay the hospital bill, a doctor at the private hospital froze their baby’s body for 2 weeks and even stopped his wife from leaving the ward as collateral.

“You’re evil, doctor”

The founder of the Special Funeral Van Unit (UKVJ), Mr. Wan Cai Official, has spoken out again, responding to the hospital’s statements about the accusations against them.

In a Facebook post, he called out the hospital for suggesting the baby’s parents weren’t married, claiming that the hospital never even asked to see their marriage certificate.

Wan Cai also described one of the hospital’s doctors as “evil” and “cruel,” slamming their claim that the parents refused to handle their baby’s remains. He said it was actually the counter staff who stopped them until the full balance was paid.

The hospital claimed the dad refused responsibility for the baby’s remains

Wan Cai shared that a friend of the father went straight from work to the hospital on December 7 to pay RM663. After paying, the friend tried to claim the baby’s body, but the counter staff refused to release it.

“They pressured the dad to pay the remaining RM1,817 before releasing baby Adham’s body. How can the hospital claim the dad didn’t want to take responsibility for his own son’s remains?” he wrote.

He also called out the hospital’s behaviour, saying they should own up to their mistakes and fix the situation.

“The hospital thinks they can win because they have money”

Wan Cai mentioned he has eyewitness and proof, including receipts from the hospital for the payments made and the parents’ marriage certificate, even though the hospital claimed they weren’t married.

He also highlighted how a “servant of God” stepped in to help pay the remaining RM1,817 to the hospital on December 11.

“You (the hospital) are so arrogant, thinking you can get away with this because you have money. And you have the audacity to claim you let the mom leave the hospital that day?” he said.
