SADLY, it is the end of the road for the national squad in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 competition.
This was after we lost 0-2 to Vietnam in a Group D tie held at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday.
It was also the second loss in less than a week for Malaysia following the 0-2 defeat to Uzbekistan on April 17.
With no points after two games and only one more to play, our best hope is to finish third in the group if we can beat Kuwait tonight (Tuesday) at the Al-Janoub Stadium.
