Garmin has expanded its wearable lineup in Malaysia with the launch of the CIRQA Smart Band, its first screen-free fitness tracker designed for users who want comprehensive health monitoring without the distractions of a display.
Available from 21 August 2026, the smart band offers up to 10 days of battery life and records health and fitness data around the clock, with all metrics accessible through the Garmin Connect app. Unlike some competing platforms, the device does not require a subscription to access its core features.
The lightweight fabric band is available in Black, French Gray, Captain Blue and Mauve, with S/M and L/XL sizing options. It can be worn on either the wrist or upper arm, depending on activity or sleeping preferences.
Health Tracking
Despite its minimalist design, the CIRQA Smart Band includes a wide range of health tracking features. These include wrist-based heart rate monitoring, Body Battery energy tracking, Pulse Ox, stress monitoring, skin temperature tracking and sleep analysis, with insights covering sleep stages, heart rate variability, respiration and nap detection. Women’s health tracking, including menstrual cycle and pregnancy monitoring, is also supported through the Garmin Connect app.
For fitness enthusiasts, the smart band automatically detects and records activities, while also supporting manual tracking for more than 80 exercise types, including running, walking and yoga. Advanced training metrics such as VO2 max, training readiness, HRV status, recovery time and training status are included to help users better understand their performance and recovery.
When paired with a compatible smartphone, the CIRQA Smart Band can also use connected GPS for outdoor activities and supports LiveTrack, allowing friends and family to follow a user’s location in real time.
The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band will be available from 21 August through Garmin’s official website, Garmin Brand Stores, authorised retailers. It is priced at RM899, while additional bands and upper arm accessories will retail from RM219 to RM269.
