DAP's heavyweight Gobind Singh Deo is currently leading in the race for the Damansara parliamentary seat The two other candidates for the seat are Barisan Nasional’s Tan Gim Tuan from MCA and Lim Si Ching from Perikatan Nasional.
In the last general election, incumbent Tony Pua Kiam Wee won the Damansara parliamentary seat with a majority of 106,903 votes, the highest recorded majority nationwide.
