GE15: “Drinking Timah is like drinking a Malay woman” MP loses in Tangga Kawan

SHAH ALAM - Pakatan Harapan’s Rusnah Aluai loses to Perikatan Nasional’s Bakri Jamaluddin.

She became famous after raising the issue of the alcoholic beverage’s name “Timah Whiskey” in the Dewan Rakyat last year.

Bakri won with a 8,849 majority against Rusnah.

Bakri got 37,406 votes, against Rusnah 28,557 votes.

Barisan Nasional candidate Lim Ban Hong got 25,095 and Pejuang’s Ghazali Abu got 702 votes.

One independent candidate Shahril Mahmood lost his deposit after securing only 267 votes.
