GE15: Stern action to be taken against those who disrupt public order, says IGP

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian Royal Police (PDRM) warns all parties to refrain from disrupting public order that could disturb the transition of power after the 15th General Election (GE15).

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said the voting process throughout the country went smoothly and the police would ensure public order post GE15.

He said the police were ready to face any possibility during the post-GE15 period to determine the next government.

Acryl Sani said the police had mobilised all personell to ensure the power transition phase runs smoothly and guarantees public safety.

"Stern action will be taken to those found disrupting public safety and order that threatens national security," he stated.
