SEGAMBUT: Former Damansara MP Tony Pua said that the threat is not yet over despite the imprisonment of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak over his 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
“We have put Najib in prison but the threat is not over. The journey has only started and we must not be complacent,” he said during a ceramah Pakatan Harapan (PH here, as a final push to the 15th General Election (GE15).
“Make sure to vote for (PH chairman Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim tomorrow because if you don’t, then Zahid will become the prime minister,” he said.
Pua is the incumbent for Damansara, however, has decided to not defend his seat. Former Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo will stand in Damansara instead.
