AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that India’s Gen Z youth would have to launch Nepal-style protests to curb the growing menace of examination paper leaks across the country.

Speaking to the media after the cancellation of the NEET-UG examination paper, Kejriwal said, “If paper leaks have to be stopped, then the youth of this country, especially Gen Z, will have to come out on the streets.”

The senior AAP leader alleged that since the BJP came to power at the Centre in 2014, at least 93 examination papers have been leaked nationwide. He claimed that BJP-ruled states such as Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Gujarat were among the worst affected.

“Most paper leak incidents have occurred in states governed by BJP’s double-engine or triple-engine governments,” Kejriwal alleged.

He further claimed that repeated paper leaks had jeopardised the future of more than six crore students and job aspirants.

Backing Kejriwal’s remarks, former Delhi chief minister Atishi also criticised the Centre over the issue. Sharing a video on X, she alleged that the NEET paper had leaked four times during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure.

“In just a few minutes, the hard work of lakhs of students gets ruined,” Atishi said, questioning why those responsible for the leaks were allegedly escaping punishment.

“Who is shielding the culprits behind these paper leaks? Prime Minister Modi will have to answer the youth of the country,” she added.
