Genoa have asked Chelsea for Cesare Casadei.
The Italy U20 captain could be loaned out by Chelsea this season.
Leicester City have expressed interest, while Genoa are also keen. Casadei spent last season on-loan Reading.
Sky Italia says Genoa hope to bring the former Inter Milan junior back to Italy.
The midfielder would prefer a top-flight loan as opposed to a return to the Championship.
