Georgio Poullas has not held back since his post-match altercation with Arman Tsarukyan.
Poullas had said before the contest that the top UFC lightweight would not be able to take him down. Early in the match, both landed slaps that nearly led to a disqualification, but Tsarukyan came out on top with a 5-3 win.
After the final whistle, Tsarukyan threw a punch at Poullas, who is known for both his high school wrestling background and strong social media presence. Since then, Poullas has shared some videos addressing what happened.

Photos of the aftermath surfaced on social media, showing Poullas bleeding from the nose. He later posted a video from an ambulance, giving his side of how things unfolded.
“Alright I want to send a message to all my fans and supporters. I want to thank you guys, I hope you guys got some enjoyment out of the match tonight. Unfortunately I was jumped,” he began by saying.
“But as you guys saw, my 62-year-old dad and both my brothers came to my rescue. That’s the way we were brought up to fight for each other no matter what. We were outnumbered by like 12 Armenians and they came out there running, fighting with me, fighting for me.
“So that’s f—ing love, that’s how we were raised. To Arman, you’re a little b—- and by the way if you watch the match I’m the only one that got the takedown. He got a push out and a couple of penalty points, I’m still the champ baby.”
The official scoring briefly showed 6-3 after awarding two points for what looked like a clear takedown from Tsarukyan late in the match. However, since he had already been given a point for a pushout before that moment, it did not stand.
The scoreboard was quickly corrected back to 5-3 before things escalated between Tsarukyan and Poullas after the final whistle.
