German biathlon great Ricco Gross is taking up a coaching role with the Switzerland team for the upcoming World Cup season.
The four-time Olympic champion and nine-time world champion will be responsible for shooting, a team statement said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, another German biathlon icon Wolfgang Pichler is taking on a leading role in Austria's biathlon team.
The 71-year-old coach will be responsible for planning and managing the World Cup team's training, the Austrian Ski Association said.
