PENAMPANG: SK Moyog received 160 new food containers as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce single-use plastic in line with the school’s sustainability campaign with their slogan, “Say no to single use plastics”.

Apart from the food containers, they also donated used storybooks for the school library, new school bags, canvas bags, stationery, and other goodies to support the students’ education and daily needs.

The items were provided by the members who are dedicated to support rural students’ education and their well-being.

They have a total of 154 students, majority of whom come from the local community, with 75pc classified under the B40 income group. The school has 19 teachers and led by headmistress Anni Athony.
