Gillian Anderson was filmed outside of her West End show asking superfans to not sit in the front row of her show Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The 58-year-old actor can be heard telling a group of audience members outside Soho Palace theatre “you guys cannot sit in the front row, it’s so distracting”.
The X Files star has responded to online backlash over the video, which was filmed on Saturday (3 October).
Writing on X, she said: “The video doing the rounds is me talking with women I go back over 20 years with - so please don’t say anything negative about them.”
