Giovanni Pernice's former Strictly Come Dancing partner has issued a statement on her involvement with a BBC investigation into the dancing competition.
The Italian professional dancer, 34, has been embroiled in a behind-the-scenes controversy since Amanda Abbington complained to the BBC about his conduct and “inappropriate” behaviour while being partnered with him on the dance competition in 2023. He denies any wrongdoing.
Debbie McGee, who was partnered with Pernice in 2017, confirmed her involvement with the investigation and described her time on the show as "amazing."
