Former Watford sports chief Filippo Giraldi is proud of their deal for Tottenham star Richarlison.
Giraldi oversaw the Brazil striker's signing from Fluminense before his sale to Everton.
He recalled to TMW: "He only stayed with us for a year.
"We were perhaps the first English club to bring a player directly from Brazil without an intermediate move to other European leagues.
"He was supposed to go to Ajax, then we intervened and he came to us with an immediately exceptional impact."
