
Kota Kinabalu: A six-year-old girl had to endure pain for almost half an hour when her finger got stuck in an escalator at Plaza Juta, Likas, here, Friday, said the fire department.
The department in a statement said a team was deployed to the location to help the girl after receiving an alert.
The firemen removed the child's finger from the escalator using special equipment before giving her initial treatment and sending her to the hospital.
