Girona coach Michel was delighted with his players for their draw with Barcelona.
Monday night's Catalan derby finished 0-0.
Michel later said: "The evaluation is very positive because we did many things well both with and without the ball. When we had the ball we managed to get on goal and created three quite dangerous situations.
"The team had personality and in the moments in which they attacked we managed to defend the spaces and the area well. There were two great saves from Gazzaniga and it's important to have that bit of talent in goal.
"It was a very positive point and I really like that we kept a clean sheet because we were ourselves and didn't lock ourselves in. We did very well and I'm very happy for the players, who played a great match. It is true that they made us suffer, but we took two or three very clear actions.
"I will have to pay my players something because I told them it was impossible to draw 0-0 at the Camp Nou. There are very few teams that have a playing presence here like we have. Spectacular, I'm very proud of the players."
