LABUAN: The Labuan Women’s Affairs Association (Hawa) hopes newly-appointed Chairman of Labuan Corporation Tan Sri Anifah Aman will be able to fix the island’s expectations of him and the long list of grievances.
“Though Anifah is from Sabah we believe that there may be a special reason why he has been given the job as well as made senator representing the island.
“We shall give him the benefit of the doubt and withhold any further comments about his double appointment until such time,” said chief of Hawa, Fauziah Datuk Din.
