Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Kouadio Kone is interesting Liverpool.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted they could sign a new midfielder this week.
Sky Sports says Frenchman Kone is one of the options under consideration for the Merseyside club and that they could well make a late swoop for him, following an impressive first season in the Bundesliga after arriving from Toulouse in 2021.
The 21-year-old recorded three goals and one assist in 29 games for Monchengladbach last season, helping them to a 10th-placed finish in the Bundesliga.
Kone also earned his first cap for France under-21's earlier this year.
