The Glazer family are threatening to delay any sale of Manchester United for a few months.

The American owners of the club are not satisfied with the purchase offers they have received as yet.

The most significant bids are said to be from INEOS and the Qatari royal family.

However, The Guardian states that a sale could be delayed until May or June at the moment.

The Glazers want at least 6 billion for United, despite the club having significant debt.

Any new owner would also have to invest in the facilities, given United's stadium Old Trafford is behind many modern grounds in terms of its amenities and setup.
