Ishita Batish of Guru Ram Dass School of Planning, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, has been awarded the University Gold Medal in Master of Technology (Urban Planning) for the 2024-26 session.
She secured first position in the MTech programme with a CGPA of 9.04 out of 10. This is her second University Gold Medal, as she was also the Gold Medalist in BTech from the GNDU 2020-2024. Ishita will be conferred the medal during the annual convocation of the university.
Head, Guru Ram Dass School of Planning, Ravi Inder Cheema said, “Ishita’s academic consistency and research aptitude reflect the high standards of our department. Double gold medallists are rare and she has set an example for future planners.”
