Whenever we get onto an e-hailing ride, the most we’d get is free air-cond and maybe a short conversation with the driver if he/she happens to be a chatty individual.

A netizen was left floored by a particular Grab driver in Singapore who went out of his way to make the ride as memorable as possible with a stash of goodies on standby — and all for free too!

I booked a god-tier private hire car in Singapore. The driver is a really nice person. He provides snacks, tissues, bottled water, and candy for free.

“He helps to put [passengers] in a really good mood. When I was alighting, the uncle even sent me off with plenty of well wishes. I’m super touched.”

Needless to say, the OP also took several photos of the car’s interior, which was fully stocked with various snacks, tissue packets, candy, and even plants.

‘When my turn?’

Naturally, the OP’s post attracted widespread attention from netizens, who expressed jealousy over how she was able to enjoy such excellent service.

‘You’re really lucky. Out of the 10 times I’ve booked a ride, nine times I’ve ended up with grumpy drivers.’

‘I’ve been in Singapore for over 20 years but why have I still not gotten this kind of ride yet?’

Meanwhile, they were some who were also fortunate enough to cross paths with the same Grab driver and said it was an extremely happy moment.
