GoPro Mission 1 series now available in Malaysia, from RM2,999

Back in April, GoPro announced the Mission 1 lineup of compact cinema cameras, a remarkable break away from their usual action cameras. If you’re keen on these new cameras, you can now get them in Malaysia.

Available from GoPro’s official store on Shopee as well as retail partners such as TMT and YL Camera, the GoPro Mission 1 is now open for pre-order till 30 June 2026. Here’s how much they cost:

That being said, it seems that at time of writing the Shopee listings for the Mission 1 series are priced a little bit higher and are out of stock too, though both TMT and YL Camera both have them starting at RM2,999.

As a refresher, the Mission 1 series has three models, the Mission 1, Mission 1 Pro and the Mission 1 Pro ILS. All come with a 50MP, 1-inch sensor with a GoPro GP3 processor, supporting 8K video recording.

The Mission 1 and Mission 1 Pro share a lot of similar hardware, with the Pro getting added support for 8K60, 4K240 and open gate recording at 8K30 or 4K120. The base model meanwhile has reduced 8K30 and 4K120 recording, along with 4K120 open gate recording. The Mission 1 Pro ILS though adds an interchangeable lens system with Micro Four Thirds lenses.
