We’re one step closer to Grand Theft Auto VI finally launching, as you can now pre-order the upcoming title.
For Malaysians, the PlayStation 5 and 5 Pro will be the only ways you can play the title of course as the Xbox isn’t available here. Over on the PlayStation Store, Grand Theft Auto VI is priced at RM339, while for RM419 you can get Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition instead. The game itself will launch on 19 November 2026.

According to Rockstar Games, all GTA VI pre-orders and purchases before 20 November will get the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes a number of in-game items that pay homage to 2002’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Those who get the Ultimate Edition meanwhile will get an exclusive assortment of ‘premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and action’ to add to your in-game experience.
One thing to note for those expecting to hop on to GTA Online right after GTA VI launches is that Rockstar Games is positioning Grand Theft Auto VI as a single player experience. This likely means that GTA Online won’t be available for GTA VI when it launches, as was the case when GTA V first debuted back in 2013. Nevertheless, all pre-orders will still come with one month of GTA+ subscription.
As for what the story entails, according to Rockstar Games:
“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
If you do end up pre-ordering GTA VI, you’ll be able to pre-load the game from 12 November onwards to ensure you can play the game the moment it goes live. Physical versions meanwhile will have a download code inside the box, which also lets you download from 12 November onwards.
