Government adds RM3.07 million to build Changlun Mosque

SHAH ALAM - The government has agreed to continue the construction of the Changlun Mosque in Kedah by adding RM3.07 milllion of allocation, totalling the amount of construction cost to RM5.77 million.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the project will be implemented as soon as possible to benefit the local community.

"The Unity Government is concerned and committed to ensure balanced development in all states in the country.

"It must be said again that the government has never sidelined any states and it is for the sake of the people," he said in a statement today.

Anwar added that this is the Unity Government's committment in carrying out their responsibilities by placing the people's right as the main pillar.
