Kota Kinabalu: Federal Secretary Datuk Seri Rosli Isa urged civil servants in Sabah aged 40 and above to undergo regular health screenings to help detect and prevent illnesses at an early stage.
He said this initiative is essential to ensure civil servants remain healthy, active, and capable of fulfilling their duties effectively, without being affected by preventable health issues.

Rosli also announced the introduction of a new campaign encouraging federal staff to wear sports attire every Friday to foster a healthier lifestyle. The campaign also aims to promote participation in recreational activities such as community clean-ups and inter-departmental sports.
He urged department heads to actively support the initiative, highlighting that employee health is a key factor in productivity and workplace efficiency.
Commenting on the tournament, Rosli revealed that it would now be held annually due to the positive response, with close to 2,000 participants competing in six events — volleyball, netball, badminton, e-sports, golf, and football.
