KOTA KINABALU: Cooperation between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional (PH-BN) coalition for the upcoming state election remains possible, with both sides open to talks.

Sabah PKR chief Datuk Mustapha Sakmud (pic) said the formalisation of the PH-BN pact is welcomed but stressed the importance of giving local parties room to lead.

He acknowledged GRS’s desire to head the state government and said PH respects this aspiration.
