TAMBUNAN: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) launched its Tambunan election machinery in a spirited ceremony led by Datuk Victor P Paut, drawing strong support from grassroots leaders and party faithful.
Victor said this campaign goes beyond ordinary election efforts, it represents a mission to strengthen leadership at every branch level and unite all supporters under one shared vision.
He called on GRS members to champion the people’s voice with genuine commitment, pointing out the need for concrete action rather than empty promises to deliver shared prosperity.
“I am not fighting for myself, but because I see the situation facing my homeland, Tambunan. The people do not want empty promises, they want justice, opportunities and prosperity they can truly experience,” he said.
He urged the party machinery to remain focused on bringing positive change for Tambunan residents, undeterred by opposition criticism.
“This struggle is not easy. If it were easy, it would not be a struggle. Representatives are elevated by the people and can be brought down by the people,” he said.
The event was attended by representatives from the GRS component parties, village heads, community leaders and divisional committee members showing their solid support.
With the rallying cry “Tambunan, our homeland”, Victor reaffirmed his commitment to championing the future of young generations and driving transformation for a better Tambunan.
