Gabungan Rakyat Sabah will unveil its manifesto for the Sabah state election today, contesting 55 seats with ‘Rumah Kita. Kita Jaga’ slogan

KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will launch its manifesto for the 17th Sabah State Election this afternoon.

The coalition becomes one of the earliest parties to present its election platform after Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) unveiled its manifesto on November 13.

The launch event will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre beginning at 2 pm.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Ali, who serves as GRS deputy secretary-general, will present the manifesto.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who chairs GRS, will officially launch the document following the presentation.

GRS was established nearly four years ago and comprises six component parties.

The coalition includes Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, Parti Bersatu Sabah, United Sabah National Organisation, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah, Parti Cinta Sabah and the Liberal Democratic Party.

GRS is contesting 55 out of 73 seats in this state election under the slogan ‘Rumah Kita. Kita Jaga.’

Armizan previously stated the manifesto would feature new pledges while highlighting the state administration’s strong track record since 2020.

Polling day is scheduled for November 29 with early voting on November 25. – Bernama
