The rerun is scheduled to begin tomorrow (September 5) to celebrate Cheah Liek Hou’s back-to-back gold medal wins for Malaysia. However, the locations are limited. According to GSC Cinemas’ Facebook post, as of now, only the outlets in Mid Valley, KL, and Gurney Plaza, Penang will be replaying GOLD.

The time slots have yet to be updated but you can log on to GSC’s website to check on the showtimes.

The 36-year-old para-athlete defeated Indonesia’s badminton player, Suryo Nugroho, in straight sets with 21-13 and 21-15 scores at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena. This also marks Cheah’s 2nd gold after bringing home his 1st gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games, which inspired the movie GOLD.
