Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he's yet to make a decision on the club's next captain.
Fernandinho has had the armband in recent seasons, but the Brazilian has now left the Club.
Asked whether Kevin De Bruyne would take the role, Guardiola told journalists that no decision has been made and that news could be likely before City travel to West Ham United next Sunday.
"We still have not made the decision - I think they will next week," he said.
"I am pretty sure Kevin is one of the oldest players here and the responsibility he takes on the pitch, I am sure he will have a key role."
