Newcastle United have returned to the negotiating table for Nice wing-back Allan Saint-Maximin.
Having pulled back from talks after Rafa Benitez's departure for Dalian Yifang, Newcastle have now returned with an offer for Saint-Maximin after Steve Bruce's appointment.
With Nice coach Patrick Vieira freezing out the midfielder this preseason, L'Equipe says OGCN have revised their 25m price downwards.
And Newcastle have now tabled an offer of 15m plus bonuses for Saint-Maximin.
For his part, Saint-Maximin is eager to see the move happen.
