- The incident occurred at Teesside Crematorium during the service for 17-year-old Cole Worthy, who died in a head-on collision on the A66 last month.
- The crash claimed the lives of five young men and two police officers in Middlesbrough when a car travelling on the wrong side of the road struck a police vehicle.
- Following the arrest, the service resumed with Cleveland Police officers remaining in the area to provide reassurance.
- Gye Worthy is scheduled to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on 2 October.
