Zack Steffen is delighted to be back in the Bundesliga with Fortuna Dsseldorf.
The USA goalkeeper is on-loan at Fortuna Dsseldorf this season from Manchester City, having made the move this summer.
The 24-year-old had once previously tried his luck in Germany. Between January 2015 and the summer of 2016, he was at SC Freiburg under contract. But he never made an appearance.
"It felt right to take another step towards Europe," Steffen told Kicker.
"Now I'm more mature and I know what football is like in Germany."
