Lille president Gerard Lopez insists they'll survive losing two of their coaching staff to Jose Mourinho's Tottenham.
There's been some anger expressed by LOSC coach Christophe Galtier after assistant Joao Sacramento and keeper coach Nuno Santos quit this week for Spurs.
But Lopez told L'Equipe: "It was two staff members who were out of contract in May, who had been allowed to leave in the summer because they wanted to see something else. I know they were in discussions with Jos (Mourinho) for a while.
"I made the effort too because I knew who we were going to take to replace them. The timing is not good but it is not catastrophic. It would have been worse if we did not have the names of the replacements. We had everything planned so we will integrate new members next week. I will not say that I was particularly happy because the thing was planned this summer.
"I find it annoying for us even if we have the solutions but it would not have been elegant to hold people who want to do something else."
